Called 27 hours in advance for 11 people. Was assured we would be seated at 7. Called 2 hours prior to reservation and confirmed they could still seat us at 7. Showed up at 6:45 and got greeted by hostess Jackie who seemed shocked we were early for our 7pm reservation. After watching multiple parties get seated before us and waiting 35 min. Spoke to hostess again who said another 35 min (7:40). After asking how other larger parties are seating before us, she stated you can call ahead for reduced wait, but they don’t do reservations(???).After watching a group of 15 get seated before us even though they walked in after us I asked how they got priority, her response was... they called in advance... (1 hour in advance)Moral of the story was they take reservations but they really don’t. Waited 45 min in a crowed bar. Never got to try the food. Disappointed.

Over priced, waiter doesn't know the prices of sides. And what made the experience really BAD was the locals dont take to kind to other races!!

We are here from Florida celebrating our 35th anniversary. We found Mint Steakhouse online but only looked at the reviews - never saw it was grill your own steak. It was a neat surprise and so much fun. The food was delicious. Jason was a great server and had a fun sense of humor. We highly recommend it!Ty and Kelly

Great place for a steak in Silverthorne. Before going I didn’t so much research and was surprised that it was a cook your own steak place. Cooking the steak was fun but the grill area can get crowded if you are there during a peak time. The salad bar comes with the purchase of any meat. It was basic but adequate. I’d definitely head back.

Beat restaurant in the area, mans dream to cook your own steaks, everything turned out the best, I'm from MN and will remember this place for ever

Super cool experience! For starters, once we were sat, the owners came over and chatted with us about the history of the building and let us know what we could expect for dinner. Appetizer was great (jalapeño poppers), salad is unlimited, cocktails were fine. Dinner is the cool part, choose your meat from a display, take it over to the grill where spices, seasoning and sauce await you along with Texas toast and butter. Didn’t save room for dessert but the loaf of cinnamon bread we received as compliments of the owners (baked by them as well) was perfect for breakfast the next morning. Our waiter, Matt, was quick on his feet and quite funny. Overall, super cool place to go especially for a night with a date, friends or family!

Went to The Mint on recommendations from some good friends. What a neat place! Souch character, great service, excellent music. I'm not a fan of salad bars, but this one was fresh & had all the basic salad stuff. Grilling our own steaks was cool & they were really nice cuts of meat, so they were delicious. I'm trying not to think about the possible food safety issues. Definitely the best meal we had in the Keystone area for the few days we were there. Most places seem to be overpriced for mediocre food. Highly recommend The Mint!

I cant lie, my steak was great! But I cooked it myself! Only problem is, I still paid a high end steak house price. An unlimited salad bar was included in my steak price but if you wanted any kind of side you have to pay extra.

I didn't know what this place was going into it, I thought it was your run of the mill mountain restaurant. I was surprised in the best possible way. We had to wait a few minutes for a table, so we chatted with the bartender for a bit and he was happy to share the history of the building and several others in town. It was an awesome conversation. Then the meat we grilled up was so tasty. I loved the entire concept and can not recommend this place enough.

We ate at MINT Thursday night, they had a great atmosphere and service was awesome, our server Mckayla was attentive, happy and accomidating! The food was delicious, some of the best steak we have had! We enjoyed seasoning and grilling our selections.

T-Bone and Big Tuna were the best. So much fun and great steaks! Request T-bone the next time you're in!

Had the sliders they are great! The bartender was very friendly and welcoming. Very affordable too!

What a great mom and pop steakhouse! Such a fun experience and a wonderfully attentive staff. Makayla was an excellent server and the steaks were delicious.

Even with COVID masks, I always like local flavor and the Mint is no exception. The owner was personable and the flavors very good. Just remember that you are cooking the steak and sometimes it's about doing something different and doing it with people you love. We got to cook our steak to perfection and burn the bread beyond recognition but we had fun doing it. Don't worry they'll bring you more.

Havent been to The Mint in years but it is still in the same old building with the same old front door and the same delicious steaks! Here you can pick out your own steak (rib-eye, filets, New York strip) or have one cut like you want. Then you get to cook your own steak on a well seasoned grill with their steak seasoning. Comes with salad bar, sides extra. $$$ but worth it if you love steak.

Never been to a cook your own steak steakhouse. Lots of fun. Sides took forever to come out, but other than that I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something unique in the area.

Love the concept of going to a counter, choosing my cut of meat, then being able to cook it myself. The variety of sides are nothing short of amazing. Excellent experience!

Just had a great meal and overall lovely experience at The Mint. Nancy, the owner and the Butcher made my sons Birthday one he will never forget. And as Miles says, its got to be a good dry age steak for proper flavor, that it was. Super fun, good meat and a Wonderful staff!

Make sure to call ahead and let them know you're coming. Also it is a cook your own food place, so be prepared. Unlimited salad buffet is a nice perk too, and portion sizes are large. They will bring you your side. Nice waiters too.

Fantastic meal ! our waitress Makayla was awesome. We picked our steaks from the " butcher shop ". And then we were allowed to cook them on an open grill. Even with covid they went above and beyond to serve us. And differently get the mint potato for dessert. And I wish we had something like this at home.

Had a great time with the family after a day of skiing. We loved the experience of cooking our own steak and that's what makes it fun. Thanks to the staff for the great service and the wonderful time!

Great service with really nice folks. Quality meats ready for you to cook on their griddle. The dessert list is capped bt the famous dessert "potato," big enough for two all set in a rustic atmosphere!

A great steakhouse, in which you pick out your cut from a meat display and then grill it yourself; if it's not done right there's no one to fault than yourself. The service was great, as they made me feel at home.

All I have to say is wow!!! The steaks were amazing! Great atmosphere. Our family had a blast grilling our own steaks, and trying our best not to burn our bread! Jason aka "T-bone" was fantastic! Best server we had in Summit County!

Called ahead for a 7 pm table for 4, but had to wait 30 minutes to be seated, so we didn't start of on the right foot. The steaks were nice and it was cool selecting your own steak to cook from butcher counter. The unlimited salad bar was a nice option as well. Overall we a good experience, the staff were very friendly. Felt the steaks were expensive given we had to cook our own food.

This place is A++. A must visit place in Summit County. The historical building has a great ambiance. Great steaks and a fun drink list.

Over priced considering I had to cook my own steak. Stale bread, very cold sitting upstairs, our baked potatoes were cold. Very disappointed

Can select the choice of proteins to grill based on your appetite. Beer choices were adequate. Was fun to use the big grill to cook a meal. Salad bar had fresh greens and options for ones toppings. Overall, enjoyable and would return with friends.

A friend recommended this place to our group. Obviously things are a little different with Covid but the food was AMAZING and our server Michaela was FANTASTIC! She made all of our group feel welcome and at home! I will definitely be making a stop to The Mint when I am back in town!

This was a really cool experience located in silverthorne colorado you go in pick the cut of meat you want and prepare it yourself. Comes with an unlimited salad bar. They also have sides you can choose that they prepare over all a good and different experience.
